Friends of Chimacum Schools Education Foundation

The Friends of Chimacum Schools Education Foundation (FOCS) was founded in 1994 by a group of local citizens exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.  It was established as a non-profit organization with 501(c) (3) status in 1996. The Chimacum Schools Education Foundation funds are intended to enhance, not replace state and local taxes for schools. FOCS By-Laws

  FOCS was created to:

  • Provide additional educational resources for Chimacum students and staff
  • Create a better understanding of the educational needs of Chimacum Schools
  • Help students continue their education by promoting and awarding scholarships
It is the purpose of FOCS to promote education at all levels within the Chimacum School District by providing the long term management structure necessary for a permanent fund and a scholarship endowment fund from which only the income will be available for distribution to support educational projects and student scholarships. If you would like to send a tax deductible donation please complete one of the forms below that is best suited to your needs:  

Room Dedication Program

Our room dedication program receives contributions between $5,000 and $15,000 along with having a room or school area named in the donor’s honor or designee.  One half of each donation can also be designated for a specific project or program area (examples: PI Program, library books, tennis court improvements and scholarships to name a few)
