Dear Students and Parents of Chimacum Elementary,
In order to help everyone in our school have the best possible school experience, we are providing each family with a copy of our “Chimacum Elementary Student/Parent Handbook.” It is important for you to become familiar with this information; many questions you will have regarding student behavior and expectations as well as school procedures are addressed in this handbook.
As a staff, we have worked very hard to develop a clear behavior plan because we believe that clear and concise policies are critical to a smoothly operating school. Our behavior plan includes playground, assemblies, lunchroom, buses, and field trips. Each classroom teacher will have their own classroom expectations and these will be conveyed to you by your child’s teacher.
The Chimacum Elementary Staff is requesting that each family take time to review this handbook together. At school, our staff will work together daily to help our students learn responsibility, cooperation, and respect for others.
