Water quality includes flow rate, hardness, dissolved oxygen, turbitity and conductivity, nitrates and phosphates. All of these things are important for a healthy water enviorment for animals, people and bugs. Some ways of telling if the water is not polluted is by bugs. Some types of bugs only live in non polluted water. Some sources of pullution include animal wastes, fertilizer and bug spray. Another form of pullution is septic tank leaking into rivers, lakes and ground water.
