I just read the article about Mr. Gonzales’ Middle School teaching in the "Kitsap Sun" (3-2-07) and noticed a caption under a picture with Mr. Gonzalez and student, John P, who’s working on a Web page about sharks.
I have a book coming out this summer that contains stories about sharks and other sea life round Fox Island (near Tacoma) during the 1950s. I don’t know if this is something he might be interested in or not, but I can send that chapter of my book to him via e-mail.
I’m a retired North Kitsap High School teacher (1995) and write books about what life was like in the 1940s and 1950s.
Sincerely, Don Edgers Donedgers@aol.com
chimacum is very small but thats why its cool. i think that we should be allowed to have certain energy drinks, but only a select few.

I am at school right now and I just want to say thanks to Mr.G for these wonderful new computers they make me very happy and makes our school look some what rich.
I also have something to say about the school rules,
I think that our school should be able to drink energy drinks and chew gum I don’t think every generation of chimacum should be punished for one years students. I think we should get a chance to chew gum and if we abuse th privlage then you can take it away
