Hey 8th grade students and parents!

The Washington Higher Education Coordinating Board–a group responsible for overseeing public colleges and universities in our state–has a GREAT opportunity for students with financial need. The Washington College Bound Scholarship program is a commitment of college scholarship funds to selected Washington middle school students. To be eligible, all you need to do is meet the family income standards, take a pledge to graduate from high school with at least a 2.0 GPA, and be a good citizen. Family income from your senior year will be verified upon high school graduation.

Deadline to apply is June 30, 2009!
