Attention 8th Grade Students: Spring High School Football Practice begins after school on Wednesday, June 6th through June 15th.  A scrimmage against Quilcene High School has been scheduled on the 15th for those players who attend spring practice.  If you are interested in playing high school football in the fall, spring practice is highly recommended.  See Coach Meacham if you have any questions.

Summer YMCA activities:  There is a flyer in the office about different camp activities for the summer.  All camps run 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Thursday, unless otherwise noted.  Ages 10-14

Attention 8th graders (Class of 2016):  T-shirts are being pre-sold for $10 each.  Help support our graduation class!  Please bring the order form to Audrey Thacker or the middle school office.

More News:

(1)    Creative Expression Contest: Submit a poem, essay, poster, or  brief video about anti-bullying (Theme: how can we stop bullying at Chimacum Middle School?) and win dinner and movie passes for two! Entries must be submitted to Mrs. Fitzpatrick by June 4th

Freshman Academy: Summer School for current 8th grade students will begin on Tuesday, June 19th ~ June 29th, 2012.  On June 19th class begins at 1:00 and ends @ 2:30.  Each day after that is from 8:30 - 2:30.  This is a perfect way to earn one credit for high school.  Applications are available in the office and will be mailed home to all 8th grade students.  Some of the activities include:  Gibbs Lake Ropes Course, NW Maritime Center Wooden Longboats, and other activities.  There is a $10 non-refundable fee for this class.

Lost and Found Clothing: Please claim your clothes or they will be donated to the “Back to Clothes Swap” in August.  The clothes are in the commons.
