The YMCA is sponsoring a Babysitting Class on January 6, 7, 2010.  It will be after school from 2:30 - 4:30.  More information will be coming soon.

2010 Snowsports Recreation Program - Registration is Saturday, December 5th @ 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the lower level of the Port Townsend Recreation Center.  Registration is first-come, first-serve and parent/guardian signatures are required on the forms for all participants under the age of 18.  Advance registrations are not permitted.  Students in grades 7 - 12, adults and families are welcome.  (Students in 6th grade or below MUST be accompanied by a participating parent/guardian).  REGISTRATION FORMS ARE IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL OFFICE.

ASB FOOD DRIVE - Food Drive Totals as of November 25th is 190 pounds.

DiPrete - 105 pounds

Waring - 22 pounds

Langston - 18 pounds

Meacham - 23 pounds

Berg - 22 pounds

The food drive ends on December 16th.  The winning classroom will be awarded ice cream sandwiches on Dec. 18th.

Dental Health Services Coming in School Based Health Centers:  Good oral health is an important part of total body health.  That is why we are happy to announce the addition of preventive dental/oral health services to the school based health clinic schedule.  Students without dental insurance or who have Medicaid insurance are eligible.  Parental consent is required.

Cyndi Newman, RDH, Jefferson County Oral Health Program Coordinator/Dental Hygienist will be providing the services.  The clinics will offer dental/oral health assessments, oral health instructions, dental cleanings, fluoride applications, dental sealants, and dental referrals. These services will be available by appointment  on the following dates:  Please call 385-9400 for more information and to schedule an appointment.
