Selecting a Printer

  1. Go the Apple Menu and select the Chooser.
  2. On the left side of the Chooser, select LaserWriter 8 (click on it once only).

  1. On the right side a list of printers should show up.
    1. If a list of printers does not show up, check your network connections and/or check Appletalk in the control panels to make sure everything is set up properly.
  2. Choose a printer by clicking on it once.
  3. Then close the Chooser window. That's it!
  4. Somewhere on the desktop you should see a printer icon with the name of the printer you chose.

  1. Once you've selected a few different printers, you can easily switch from printer to printer from the control strip and skip steps one through six above.
    1. If you can't find the control strip, go the Control Panels, choose Control Strip and make sure you select Show Control Strip.
