Setting up Your Projection Device

  1. Unpack your projection device and decide where in the room you want to set it up as your presentation station.

  1. Plug the cable into the projection device and put the white adapter that came with your iBook to the other end of the cable and plug that into your laptop.

  1. Turn your projection device on then either start your laptop or wake it up from sleep. The projection device should find your laptop if you connected it all correctly. Focus it to get a clear projection and use the remote or the menu on the device to correct the picture if need be (play around with the controls to figure them out). That's it! Read on to see how to view TV/VCR through the projection device.

Plug it in and turn the power on.

  1. To set up your projection device to view what's on the TV or VCR, find the long cables that were specially ordered.

  1. Attach a color of the cable to the video part on the projection device marked RGB. That same color section of the cable will go to the VCR.

  1. You need to attach the same color to the Video Out on the VCR (remember, Video Out is yellow and it means the video will go out of the TV or VCR to the projection device). That's it really. Read on to add sound.

  1. When you get the sound adapter, plug it in to another color of cable and plug that in to the audio part of your projection device (it won't be the white or red one, but the audio next to that - see above picture of back of projection device).

  1. If you connected the audio adapter to the red cable, then make sure to connect the other red cable section to the Audio Out on the VCR. (I don't think it matters if you choose right or left.)
