Superintendent’s Message

Welcome to the start of another great year in the Chimacum School District.  We have a lot to be proud of here in the Chimacum School District. Our students performed at a very high level both in the classroom and in their extracurricular activities and athletics. I’m really proud of our graduating class; they were an excellent group of students and a good representation of the quality of young citizens within our district.  Along with the many great accomplishments by our staff and students we also went through some heartfelt challenges. These challenges exposed just how important relationships are in our district and within our community. What a great place to live, work, and learn. We are excited about the coming year and anticipate providing a high quality learning experience for all our students.

This summer our administrative team and school board will be working on our five year goals to ensure the academic success of all our students for today and into the future. We will be posting these learning initiatives on our website as they become available. Another initiative in the works this fall will be a facilities audit. This audit will identify building and program needs so we can strategically maintain our facilities to enhance learning for years to come.

We appreciate the privilege we have to work with you in supporting and encouraging our students to learn and grow into confident, well prepared, and motivated young adults. Together we make a difference. Thank you for your continued support of our students.
