Exchange Email server switchover
The switchover to the new Exchange email server has been completed. From now on, all new email messages will be going to the new email server. Until your computer has been setup with the new account settings, you can access your email by using the Outlook Web Access. There is a link on the main CSD webpage. How to access your E-mail account through a web browser
- Navigate to https://poseidon.csd49.org/owa with your web browser.
- Enter your domain user logon into the Username box, and your password into the password box. If you see a third box asking for Domain, enter “csd49 “. Click the “OK” button after you have entered this information.
- After a few moments, your Outlook Web Access mail will appear on the screen, and the ‘Inbox’ will be open by default. To view a specific message, click on the individual message line. To view that message in a new window, double click on that message line.
- To compose a new email message, click on the “new” button near the top of the screen.
- To see your other folders, such as ‘sent items’ or ‘contacts’, click on the appropriate buttons shown on the left hand toolbar.
- To close out your session when you are all finished, click on the ‘Log off’ button.
Some final notes, the global address list is located on the top right of the window and does not show up under the contacts. The login name and password now match what you use to login to the computer when it starts up.
